There will be a keycard in the vehicle. I can open the vehicle remotely or provide you guest access using your existing Tesla account. This allows you to setup your phone as a key. As well as be able to locate the vehicle with GPS.

Answers to Common Questions

  • How can I rent the Electric Car?

    Currently, rentals are only available on Turo. Use the Models Dropdown on the main navigation to choose a vehicle and then visit it's listing on Turo.

  • Where do I pickup the car?

    • Austin, Texas, near the St Elmo Tesla Service Center.
      It is located in South Congress just South of Ben White Blvd.
      The address will be shared once it is booked.
    • Austin–Bergstrom International Airport (IATA: AUS) is also an option. The car can be delivered to the airport for an additional fee. It will be parked in the blue or red garage.
    • Drop-off will be at the same location as pickup.

  • Do I need a physical key?

    No, a physical key card is included in your rental. However, you can share your Tesla account to be given access as a driver of the vehcile.
    This allows you to use your phone as a key and have access to GPS location of the vehicle.

  • How do I charge the Tesla?

    Tesla SuperChargers are the easiest option.
    A J1772 adapter will be inlcuded so you can use third-party charging stations.
